Bio

Logan is a professional drummer and educator based in Amsterdam. He began playing drums at the age of ten and quickly developed a deep passion for music, performing in bands throughout his teenage years. In 2013, Logan moved to Toronto to study at Humber College, where he had the opportunity to learn from acclaimed drummers including Steve Mancuso, Paul DeLong, Larnell Lewis, and Mark Kelso. He graduated in 2019 with a Bachelor of Music.
Throughout his career, Logan has worked extensively as both a sideman and educator. He was a featured performer in Deerhurst Live, Canada’s longest-running stage show, and toured Ontario as the drummer for the theatre production Dean and Jerry: What Might Have Been. He has also performed with various Canadian artists. In 2020, Logan published his first book, Rhythm and its Application, a practical guide for drummers and musicians.
Now living in Amsterdam, Logan continues to perform and teach. He is the founder of Drumschool Logan, and has become an active part of the local music scene. He has performed throughout the Netherlands with a wide range of artists and groups, including LNDE, Lincoln Lim, 4Tuoze Matroze, Nic Van Graan, the Amsterdam Latin Project, among others. Logan has also been involved in several studio sessions, further establishing his presence as a versatile and in-demand drummer.
